Costume Design & Wearable Arts

This workshop provides students with basic concepts of costume design. Students develop basic sketching, patternmaking, sewing, construction skills, tailoring garments and custom fitting will be reviewed.
Creative Writing

Discover and express your unique voice as a writer. You will practice writing techniques in this workshop. Participants will have an opportunity to write and edit their own pieces using the beautiful scenery as inspiration.
Dance Phenomenon
Course Director: Alisa Claire
Students explore dance as a discipline by using self-expression. The workshop is tailored to the skill level of the participants and emphasizes the creative process.
Glee Club

Glee Club is a vocal performance group open to anyone who wants to have a good time and likes to sing!
Filmmaking
Course Directors: Juan Pablo Felix Torres & Grace Denoncourt
Students learn techniques from storyboarding through all stages of shooting, developing and editing to create a short film. Students work collaboratively to conceptualize, plan, shoot, process, and edit the piece.
Photography
Course Director: Josh Rogosin
This is a series of lessons designed to introduce beginning photographers to the basic techniques of digital photography, learn to photograph landscapes, environmental portraiture, and much more.
Playwriting
Course Director: Ted White
Participants are guided through playwriting exercises. Over the course of C-A-M-P, members develop and revise new plays of their own; excerpts of the plays will be presented and staged for talent shows, and the final showcase.
Rock Band!
Course Director: Patrick Dorow
An elective that really rocks! This workshop is open to all musicians at C-A-M-P. Whether you've taken piano for 8 years, or are just learning to play the guitar. Students of any level will be learning the basics and expanding their knowledge of the following instruments: Piano, Guitar, Bass, or Drums. In addition to learning your instrument of choice, you will be working as a group to form a Band. Performance opportunities will include talent shows as well as the Final Showcase.

Shakespeare's World
Course Director: Eileen Rogosin
This course is a hands-on approach to the works of William Shakespeare. Students will work on excerpts from Shakespeare's plays to be performed at the end of the session.
Song Deconstruction
Course Director: Christine Kasparian
A voice class where we will take songs from all different genres and learn how to make them our own. You can learn how to take a pop song and make it into your very own jazz standard! Or take a rock song and make it into Broadway show tune! With this elective, we will also learn vocal terminology, vocal theory, and vocal physicality. We will focus on breathing, ear training, and vocal warm ups. Original Songs are VERY welcome!
Songwriting

Students with experience playing instruments and who enjoy singing create and record their own compositions.
Stagecraft
Course Director: Hellena Schiavo
Introduces students to the production operations, methods and techniques used in theater. Major topics will include: scenery construction, lighting, control of light and color, and sound effects.
Story Theater
Course Director: Ted White
Students will explore the art of storytelling through
acting, music, dance and improvisation.
As an ensemble, students will build a story
together and create characters that bring the story to life.
Vocal Ensemble
Course Directors: Roy Rogosin
Students who love to sing explore an array of singing styles. Instruction in the fundamentals of singing including breath support, posture, tone production, and diction will be reviewed. There will be opportunities to perform in front of the group during each session.
